I fished Tim’s yesterday with long time good friend Jay Arnold. We had a great 6 hours catching and releasing 22 Largemouth and Smallmouth with the majority being caught on a Wacky Rig. The 5 below was some of our best. I was using 10lb Sufix yellow braid with a 8lb Sufix fluorocarbon leader. A Vmc Neko Long Shank Wide gap hook and a Crush City Candy Bug or Plum Janitor worm rigged with a VMC Cross Over Ring to maximize the tail action on the Janitor. Low 60 water t.emp-moderately clear water and a lot of good Tim’s Ford wind. Check out all the items listed above at www.rapala.com

Jared and I fished DH yesterday from 8:30am until 4:00pm. We caught and released a mix of 42 Largemouth-Smallmouth and Spots. We put in at Sun Set Marina and ran up river which had great color to several pockets and channel swings. When we found 56-57 degree water we started there. We started throwing crankbaits-chatterbaits and spinnerbaits with only a few hits. We switched over to a shaky head and at that point it was on. I was using the Crush City 6 inch Sprayed Grass Janitor www.rapala.com, tHE Janitor is designed to be rigged in multiple ways from Texas rig-Shaky Head-Neko Rigged and more. It’s Infused with Color-Salt-and scent this is just a great worm. It also has great tail action and the back ribs helps hide the hook point extremely well. Sufix 10lb Yellow Braid and a 8lb Sufix Fluorocarbon leader www.sufix.com. I can’t post all the pictures so below are 6 of our best of 42-Thanks for visiting my site. • Woods 2-19-2026

Jared and I fished woods today from 8am until 2:30 and the ones you see below was our best. Rapala DT6 Cribbean Shad and Chartreuse Rootbeer did most of the damage. www.rapala.com Water temp on the ramp side of the bridge ranges from 52 to 54 but under the bridge it begins to drop quickly. All our fish came from water no deeper than 5-6 feet.

I fished Woods yesterday with long time friend and a great young fisherman Jared Hollingsworth, I made a early mistake in the direction I took us on the lake and it cost us several hours. It wasn’t until late in the afternoon that we found the ones that you see below. We had 8 bites in a hour. . We put 6 in the boat and both lost one. The fish were i n(3-4 feet) 52 degree water. Sufix Yellow Braid with a fluorocarbon leader and a jig. www.sufix.com Sorry about all the pictures being in single file-still working on how to get them side by side. Rick

  • Web Site Update 2-6-2026

Just a FYI. My site is going to look a little different for a while. My original site was constructed in 2007-19 years ago. It contained literally 1000’s of fish pictures from the trips that I had with clients and friends through the years. Those pictures WILL NOT be able to be viewed until we can figure out how to transfer them and still comply with the hosting services guidelines, You will be able to see NEW PIC beginning with my next trips. Thank you for visiting my site and we will work through the change as we go. Rick
