Southern 30 mph winds and gust up to 45mph that is what I heard this morning on Channel 2 News and at first I thought “No I’ll Just Stay Home” But I headed out anyway picked out a ramp on the south side and the results were 11 total hits 7 in the boat and the best 4 are pictured above. All my fish came out of 42 to 44 degree water in less than 5 feet deep. Not unusual for Tim’s in the winter-you just have to SLOOOOW DOWN-The 2 baits I used are pictured above as well. A Rapala River Shad DT6 and a 4 inch Rapala Helsinki Shad Husky Jerk www.rapala.com. I threw both of these on 6lb test Sufix Clear Blue Pro Mix—–I had 3 hits on the Jerk Bait and the others on the DT6. These 2 lures will be good on Tim’s all winter long-pick some up-tie them on 6lb Sufix mono-slow down and you will see what I’m talking about. Rick McFerrin www.tennesseebassguides.com
