This is the first time I have been able to get back on the lake since Daniel’s accident and it was a very good day. Ronnie and I caught 15 total mix of Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spots and Crappie. Because of the recent rains the lake had great cranking color and that’s exactly what we did. We caught fish on a Rapala Demon DT6 and Red Craw all in 5 to 6 feet of water www.rapala.com and they would hammer the baits.  Big fish 4lbs 11oz released live and well. We both use Sufix mono www.sufix.com I like the Clear Blue Pro Mix and Ronnie has settled in on the Hi-Vis Yellow.
