What a morning on Woods today with Ronnie Wooten. (6 hours) We caught and released 80 White Bass, 2 Largemouth, 1 Crappie, 1 Blue Gill and a 40lb Flat Head Cat Fish. What a hawg!!!!! The fish wore the Rapala Jigging Rap Out www.rapal.com-I caught the big cat on 10lb test Sufix Mono www.sufix.com  and a M/H All Pro APX Spinning Rod www.allprorods.com. It took about 20 minutes to get this beast in.  The water temp has dropped down to 62 degrees-we are almost there folks…….Everything is going to explode on our area lakes in the next 2 weeks max if the weather continues the way it is now.  Get out your Rapala DT6’s and the Jigging Rap and Terminator Spinner baits Spool up with Sufix Mono and Braid and hang on……It’s going to be good!  Rick McFerrin www.tennesseebassguides.com

This has been an interesting and fun week. What you see is a combination of Nick A Jack and Woods picture’s.      All the Large Mouth except 1 was caught on the new Rapala Live River Shad DT6 www.rapala.com The rest of the fish was caught on a Rapala Jigging Rap or a small spoon.  Here’s the rest of the story. Ronnie and I caught and released THREE HUNDRED yes 300 White Bass a 27lb flat head-a-14lb flat head and a couple 5-7lb channel cats as well all from 7am until 12:15 HONEST. It was on from the get go and you couldn’t drop the Jigging Rap without a white slamming it.(see pics above) We had 50 in the first 45minutes and we left them at noon still hitting.  The 27lb and the 14lb flat heads were caught on 6lb test Sufix Mono www.sufix.com.  I know I’m a broken record but this is the best Mono I have ever used in my life. Small Dia-silky smooth off the reel and STRONG. Do your self a big favor get you some Live River Shads-Jigging Rap’s and Sufix Mono You will be a happy fisherman. Rick www.tennesseebassguides.com

. What you see are a few fish that Ronnie and I have caught on Normandy over the past few day. The balk of them hit a  Blue Mullet Rapala  Skitter Walk www.rapala.com  These baits walk the dog very easily,  cast like a bullet and are equipped with razor sharp VMC Perma Steel Hook > If top water hasn’t started on the lake you fish I’m sure as the water temps cool off they will-Give a Skitter Walk a try “You won’t be sorry”   Sufix 832 Braid www.sufix.com and a 7′ m/h   AllPro APX Spinning Rod www.allprorods.com  I sound like a broken record-BUT why fix something that’s not broke right!!!!!
